Martin County waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the North Pitt Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

One reason for the win was Martin County's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-20, 25-19.

Martin County's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for North Pitt, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Martin County and North Pitt will both be playing Southside the next time they take the court. The Gators will head out to face the Seahawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
