Baseball Recap: Shadyside Takes a Loss

Shadyside was the 7-4 winner over The Linsly School when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell just short of the Cadets by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday.

Shadyside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damian Russell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Shadyside's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for The Linsly School, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Shadyside will challenge River at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for The Linsly School, they will take on Morgantown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cadets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mohigans have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
