Johns Creek gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They skirted past the Wheeler Wildcats 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Gladiators were the better team in the second half.

Avary Gress and Baileigh Robinson scored all three of Johns Creek's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Wheeler and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Johns Creek will face off against Midtown at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wheeler will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Blessed Trinity at 7:45 p.m. on February 25th.
