Basketball Recap: St. Maries Takes a Loss

St. Maries was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 60-48 to the Priest River Spartans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-12 back in January.

St. Maries' defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Priest River, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

St. Maries will challenge Grangeville at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. As for Priest River, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 42-22 win against Newport on the 31st.
