Webster Thomas got themselves on the board against Brighton on Monday, but Brighton never followed suit. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bruins, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups in a row.

Not much got past Max Seaver, who gave up just four hits to keep Brighton off the board. Seaver has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tyler Estelle was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

Webster Thomas' win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Brighton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-4.

Webster Thomas has already played their next game, an 8-0 win against Gates Chili on the 13th. Hopefully Brighton paid attention to the Titans' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Titans at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
