Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Research Triangle). They put the hurt on the Triangle Math & Science Tigers with a sharp 9-0 win on Friday. Kaelyn Wise-Quick was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Research Triangle's victory bumped their record up to 3-10-1. As for Triangle Math & Science, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Looking ahead, Research Triangle will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Franklin Academy at 6:00 p.m. Franklin Academy will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Research Triangle surely won't give up without a fight. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will challenge Ascend Leadership at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
