Soccer Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry managed to slip by Wayland-Cohocton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Yellowjackets lost 5-1 to the Eagles on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Perry couldn't push the score so high this time.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wayland-Cohocton, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-4-1.

Looking ahead, Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Morris at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wayland-Cohocton, they will challenge Hornell at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hornell's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so Wayland-Cohocton's offense will have their work cut out for them.
