Softball Recap: Central Falls Takes a Loss

Central Falls couldn't beat Shea on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Warriors came up short against the Pawtucket, falling 17-5. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Pawtucket recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sidney Pelletier was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Fontaine, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Central Falls' loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Shea, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Central Falls does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shea, they will venture away from home to face off against Exeter-West Greenwich at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
