Basketball Game Preview: Abernathy Antelopes vs. Post Antelopes

Abernathy will face off against Post at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Abernathy will be strutting in after a victory while Post will be coming in after a defeat.

Post will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Abernathy extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Antelopes breezed past Ralls to the tune of 87-9. The Antelopes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Post has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Deal on Tuesday.

Abernathy's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Post, their loss dropped their record down to 13-7.

Everything came up roses for Abernathy against Post in their previous matchup back in January of 2025, as the squad secured an 83-31 victory. Will Abernathy repeat their success, or does Post has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
