Volleyball Recap: Garinger Takes a Loss

If Garinger was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Harding University on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Independence Patriots on Monday, falling 3-0. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Garinger now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Independence, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Garinger wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against West Charlotte on the 19th. As for Independence, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Weddington on the 19th.
