Volleyball Game Preview: Hilton Head Prep Dolphins vs. Patrick Henry Academy Patriots

Hilton Head Prep hasn't had much luck against Patrick Henry Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Dolphins will look to defend their home court against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, Hilton Head Prep didn't have quite enough to beat Patrick Henry Academy and fell 3-2. While the Dolphins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 25-21 in the first set.

Hilton Head Prep took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 17-25, 25-15, 15-6.

Hilton Head Prep better keep an eye on Kaitlyn Carrillo. She was instrumental in Patrick Henry Academy's win, getting seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces Carrillo has posted since back in September.

Patrick Henry Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 20 aces. They are 14-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Patrick Henry Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-4. As for Hilton Head Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
