Technology has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tomales recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Titans are taking a road trip to square off against the Braves at 4:00 p.m. Tomales took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Technology, who comes in off a win.
Technology took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over Roseland Collegiate Prep. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Tyler Scullion made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Technology is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 0-5 otherwise. Scullion was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
In other batting news, Technology let Sean McGunagle and Damian Padilla run wild. McGunagle went 4-for-5 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base, while Padilla scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Padilla is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Pablo Chinchilla, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Technology always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Tomales was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 12-11 heartbreaker at the hands of Willits. Even if the Braves couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Stran Stevens was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Shaun Pelayo also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Tomales' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Technology, their record now sits at 2-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Technology has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Tomales struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Technology came out on top in a nail-biter against Tomales in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
