Badin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mariemont Warriors. Badin have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Mariemont, too.

Badin's win bumped their record up to 8-3-3. As for Mariemont, their loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.

Badin and Mariemont should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. The Rams will take on Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (42 vs. 132). Meanwhile, Mariemont (ranked 24th) will meet Deer Park (ranked 370th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
