Reeltown and Fayetteville are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rebels will head out on the road to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Reeltown didn't have quite enough to beat Valley and fell 4-3. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fayetteville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Woodland with a sharp 18-2 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ethan Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in February. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Blake McDaniel was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Connor Crumpton was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Fayetteville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Fayetteville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Reeltown, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

Reeltown beat Fayetteville 8-3 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
