Volleyball Recap: Colfax Comes Up Short

Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Asotin Panthers. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Colfax's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Asotin, they moved to 4-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Colfax is set to square off against their familiar foe Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Asotin will challenge rival Upper Columbia Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
