Things weren't looking good for Oak Ridge heading into Wednesday's tilt with Del Oro(they were ranked 54 places lower in California), but Ava Edwards wasn't phased. Edwards did her part (and then some), picking up 20 receiving yards for the 'W'.

The win was the seventh in a row for Oak Ridge, bringing their record for this year to 12-4. Edwards will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when she faces off against Davis Sr. on Thursday.

Alexa Randall Turns in Season-Best Effort

St. Francis came up short on Thursday despite Alexa Randall delivering her best game to date. Randall made five total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception which she returned one-yard for a touchdown.

St. Francis is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14. Randall and St. Francis will challenge Whitney at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Leilani Teaupa Makes It Two for Granite Bay

The second Granite Bay player making an appearance here is Leilani Teaupa, and for good reason. She picked up 37 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 55 yards on only six carries.

If history really does repeat itself, Teaupa might just drop another big game when she faces off against Folsom on Thursday. Teaupa rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries the last time she and the Bulldogs duked it out back in September.
