Taylor had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Strong Bulldogs a 20-0 shutout. Give the Tigers' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Taylor pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.2 runs over those games. As for Strong, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
