Softball Game Preview: Hebron Hawks vs. Allen Eagles

For the second straight game, Hebron will face off against Allen. The Hawks will challenge the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hebron is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Hebron heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Friday. They fell just short of Allen by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hawks have suffered since February 13th.

For Allen's part, Yahmadi Morgan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned runs on nine hits. Morgan has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Claire McKeever, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Addison King was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one triple and one run.
