Basketball Recap: Oklahoma School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

The Oklahoma School for the Deaf Bison fell just short of the Texas School for the Deaf Rangers by a score of 45-43 on Saturday. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Theo Savannah went supernova for Texas School for the Deaf, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. William Scarboro was another key player, putting up four points and 15 rebounds.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Texas School for the Deaf, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Oklahoma School for the Deaf wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-39 victory against Indiana School for the Deaf on the 7th. As for Texas School for the Deaf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-30 win against Arkansas School for the Deaf on the 7th.
