The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both teams have some strikeout artists on the roster. Salinas has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Monterey struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.6 per game. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Salinas couldn't quite finish off Monterey in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 and fell 3-1. Thankfully for Salinas, Cam Miramontes (who struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
