Wewoka had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by a 16-6 margin over the Butner Eagles on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Wewoka needed considering they were shutout in their previous matchup.

Griffen Young made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Young has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Young was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.
