Eugene waltzed into their game on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 3-0 win over the Westran Hornets.

The result came thanks to Drew Hart's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sam Schulte was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high.

Eugene's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Westran, their loss dropped their record down to 17-8.

As of now, neither Eugene nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
