Clay Center lost against Abilene back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clay Center Tigers took a 61-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abilene Cowboys. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Having lost for the first time this season, Clay Center fell to 3-1. As for Abilene, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Clay Center will be home for the holidays to greet Chapman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Abilene, they will head out on the road to square off against Wamego at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
