Soccer Recap: Cabrillo Falls Short of Templeton in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Cabrillo can now relate to. They fell just short of the Templeton Eagles by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Conquistadores can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 1039th, while the Eagles are ranked 496th).

Cabrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Templeton, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Cabrillo nor Templeton have any future games scheduled.
