Softball Recap: Johnston Comes Up Short

Johnston fell victim to Northwest and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Wolves, falling 8-0. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Northwest, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Johnston will take on rival Ankeny at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Northwest is set to challenge their familiar foe Southeast Polk at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
