Davidson Day won the last time they faced Wesleyan Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Davidson Day had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-18.

Lily Moninger paced Davidson Day's offense, picking up 13 kills. Moninger got some help from Deanna Fiore and her 21 assists. Dara Polk controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Davidson Day's record now sits at 8-4. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
