Recap: Kirkwood Cobras vs. Clarksville Wildcats

The Kirkwood Cobras won the last time they faced the Clarksville Wildcats, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kirkwood came out on top against Clarksville by a score of 65-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kirkwood.

Clarksville's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kellen J howard, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Sheldon Huber who scored 18 points. J howard is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jabari Jolley, who scored five points along with two steals.

Kirkwood is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Clarksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Kirkwood will be playing at home against Northeast at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Northeast comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Clarksville, they will head out on the road to face off against Springfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Springfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Clarksville likes a good challenge.
