Football Recap: New Trier Takes a Loss + How To Watch

New Trier and Warren Township squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but New Trier had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Blue Devils, falling 35-7. The Trevians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Jackie Ryder threw for 144 yards and one TD.

It was another big night for Aaron Stewart, who rushed for 178 yards and a pair of scores for Warren Township. Stewart's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 19th straight game with at least 113 rushing yards dating back to last season.

This is the second loss in a row for New Trier and nudges their season record down to 5-5. As for Warren Township, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

New Trier does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren Township, they will face off against Bolingbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
