Volleyball Recap: Alcona Comes Up Short

Alcona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Grayling Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Alcona's loss dropped their record down to 17-11-4. As for Grayling, their win bumped their record up to 6-19-2.

Alcona didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Houghton Lake on the 3rd. As for Grayling, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Mio HomeSchool on the 30th.
