Basketball Recap: Horse Creek Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Calhoun County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Horse Creek Academy). They managed a 70-64 win over the Calhoun County Saints on Tuesday.

Horse Creek Academy was led to victory by Kingston Hightower and Aidan Walls. Hightower posted 17 points, while Walls earned 16 points. The matchup was Walls' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Amaree Roberson, who put up ten points.

Horse Creek Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Calhoun County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Horse Creek Academy and Silver Bluff will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played.
