Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Johnsbury Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Essex Hornets on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Hilltoppers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

St. Johnsbury Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Essex, they moved to 3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

St. Johnsbury Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair will be back at it again later today.
