Softball Recap: Christian Community Takes a Loss

Christian Community lost against Zion Christian Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colts came up short against the Eagles, falling 15-5. The Colts' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Lilly Duvall was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Malerie Smythe was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Christian Community now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Zion Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Christian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Grace Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
