It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Bosco Tech ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against the Duarte Falcons by a score of 9-6. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Aidan Ramos was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-4. David Gomez was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Bosco Tech hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.

Bosco Tech's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Duarte, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season.

Bosco Tech has already played their next contest, a 24-0 win against Verbum Dei Jesuit on the 9th. As for Duarte, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 15-14 victory against Azusa on the 7th.
