Glenn and Columbia City squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Glenn had to settle for second. They fell 8-3 to the Eagles. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Sophia Lizzi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Glenn's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Columbia City, they have been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season.

Glenn does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia City, they will square off against Hanover Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
