Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Tigers vs. Hillside Hornets
Chapel Hill came out on top against Hillside on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 12-run third inning. The Tigers blew past the Hornets 15-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Alexandra (Kes) Duncan was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.
In other batting news, Chapel Hill got a massive performance out of Abby Klemm, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave Klemm a new career-high. Jillian Evans was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Chapel Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
