Volleyball Recap: Bloomington Takes a Loss

Bloomington lost against Fontana back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bruins lost 3-0 to the Steelers. The shutout was out of character for the Bruins seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

While Bloomington had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

Bloomington's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Fontana, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bloomington will take on rival Arroyo Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Fontana is set to square off against their familiar foe Rim of the World at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
