Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Bears vs. Brandywine Bobcats + How To Watch

St. Joseph is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Brandywine a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The St. Joseph Bears will host the Brandywine Bobcats at 8:30 a.m. Brandywine took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Joseph, who comes in off a win.

On Monday, St. Joseph got the win against Buchanan by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Bucks: they've now won three in a row.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Brandywine and Berrien Springs had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Shamrocks on Thursday.

Brandywine was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Berrien Springs work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 27-29, 25-21, 25-21.

Brandywine's loss dropped their record down to 11-24. As for St. Joseph, their win bumped their record up to 9-12.

St. Joseph was able to grind out a solid victory over Brandywine in their previous matchup back in August of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bobcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
