Basketball Recap: Crockett Takes a Loss

Crockett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 51-36 bruising from the Anderson Trojans. The Cougars lost against the Trojans in their previous head to head back in February of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 75-32 score last time.

Crockett's record now sits at 7-16. As for Anderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-20 record this season.

Crockett will challenge McCallum at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McCallum will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Crockett surely won't give up without a fight. Anderson has already played their next game (against Cedar Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
