Baseball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Shelton's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Tumwater Thunderbirds on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Highclimbers have suffered since March 29th.

This is the second loss in a row for Shelton and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Tumwater, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shelton is set to face off against their familiar foe Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Tumwater will challenge rival Black Hills at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
