After a string of eight wins, Huntington Beach's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Mira Costa Mustangs by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in February.

Huntington Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 34-4. As for Mira Costa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Huntington Beach nor Mira Costa have any future games scheduled.
