The Garden City Cougars will square off against the Romulus Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Garden City is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Garden City challenged Melvindale on Friday. The Cougars and the Cardinals were almost perfectly matched up, but the Cougars suffered a 28-27 defeat. The Cougars were up 20-6 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Garden City might have lost, but man, Aidan Finch was a machine: he rushed for 111 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries.

Meanwhile, Romulus' game on Friday was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 35-26 victory over Crestwood. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Chargers on their field since September 11, 2015.

Garden City better keep an eye on Torrence Searcy. He was instrumental in Romulus' win, rushing for 102 yards and two TDs, while also throwing for 103 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
