Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Eli Rickell and Connor Morehouse Lead Wesleyan to Victory

Wesleyan won the last time they faced Fellowship Christian and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wesleyan Wolves secured a 53-47 W over the Fellowship Christian Paladins.

Wesleyan was led to victory by Connor Morehouse and Eli Rickell. Morehouse went 7 of 15 en route to 20 points and six rebounds, while Rickell almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Morehouse's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Grant Schelhammer was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Wesleyan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Wesleyan picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 7-16. As for Fellowship Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.

As of now, neither Wesleyan nor Fellowship Christian have any future games scheduled.
