Baseball Game Preview: Plainview Hornets vs. Fairview Panthers

Plainview is 0-6 against Fairview since March of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Plainview needed a bit of extra time to put away Marksville. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tigers, sneaking past 12-11. Considering the Hornets' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fairview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 15-10 victory over Washington-Marion on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Panthers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Plainview, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.
