The Brentwood Spartans will look to take advantage of their home-field for the first time this season as they take on the South Allegheny Gladiators at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brentwood is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after opening their season on the road. They were beaten by Yough 40-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, South Allegheny came into Friday's matchup having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Ringgold 28-14 on Friday.

Cameron Epps was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 207 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards. Another receiver making a difference was Drew Cook, who picked up 195 receiving yards and a touchdown.

South Allegheny was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards in four consecutive games dating back to last season.
