Baseball Recap: Kellogg Comes Up Short

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Kellogg and Orofino had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Wildcats came up short against the Maniacs on Friday, falling 15-3. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Maniacs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Orofino, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Maniacs beat Kellogg by a score of 22-1 later that day.
