Softball Recap: Fresno Christian Eagles vs. Sierra Chieftains
Fresno Christian lost against Sierra back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fresno Christian Eagles fell just short of the Sierra Chieftains by a score of 3-2.
Grace LaCroix made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith DeGroot, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
On Sierra's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexi Valle, who went 1-for-1 with an RBI.
Fresno Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Sierra, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-11.
