Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Comes Up Short

On Friday, the West Brunswick Trojans didn't have quite enough to beat the Clinton Dark Horses and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Londyn Fogel, who's now up to four this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Brunswick and nudges their season record down to 2-2-1. As for Clinton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5-1.

West Brunswick and Clinton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. West Brunswick will face off against Laney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 171 places (233 vs. 62). Similarly, Clinton (ranked 258th) will meet Croatan (ranked 91st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
