Basketball Preview: Anthony Wildcats vs. McCamey Badgers
Anthony has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the McCamey Badgers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The pair are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Anthony stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They put the hurt on Immanuel Christian with a sharp 77-54 win.
Even though McCamey has not done well against the Mustangs recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went McCamey's way against the Mustangs as the Badgers made off with a 66-46 win. McCamey pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.
Anthony is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for McCamey, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Anthony beat the Badgers 47-36 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Will Anthony repeat their success, or do the Badgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
