Volleyball Recap: Avery Takes a Loss

Avery lost against Commerce back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-17.

Avery's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Commerce, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Avery will host Greenville HomeSchool Athletics at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Commerce, they will venture away from home to face off against Chisum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
