Volleyball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View lost against ALA - Gilbert North back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mountain View Mountain Lions fell just short of the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Mountain Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hunter White paced Mountain View's offense, picking up eight kills. White got some help from Chase Reidhead and his 11 assists. Kristopher Klappert controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mountain View now has a losing record of 1-2. As for ALA - Gilbert North, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Mountain View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bradshaw Mountain on the 7th. As for ALA - Gilbert North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Ironwood on the 7th.
